Mosquito Control Program
Overview
The City of Casselberry partners with Seminole County and other surrounding cities on a unified effort to manage mosquito activity.

The City’s mosquito control program larvicides all retention ponds and ditches throughout the City. This process is performed to prohibit the growth of infant mosquitoes into flying, biting adults. The City also sprays for mosquitoes on a complaint-basis; usually on every Thursday, beginning at dusk. All chemicals used are guaranteed safe and harmless to adults, children, animals, and the environment.

The Mosquito Control Program is governed and inspected by the State of Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and the Public Health Pest Control Division.
