Commercial/Residential Solid Waste Program
Residential Solid Waste Program

Residents of the City of Casselberry receive 2 garbage, 1 recycling, and 1 yard waste collection per week.  The City also partners with the current hauler to provide four (4) community cleanup events for disposal of household construction and demolition debris.    

Refuse must be out prior to 6am on scheduled collection day (click here for schedule)

  • Cans/bins must be placed 3 ft. or less from the road and may not exceed 50 lbs.
  • Yard waste must be separated from regular household garbage and cannot exceed 4 ft. (length) and 4 in. (diameter); must be bundled/tied or containerized; 15-bag limit
  • Hazardous Household Waste (HHW) is not accepted curbside (i.e., used motor oil, paints, solvents, anti-freeze, chemicals, fluorescent tubes, propane tanks, glue, fuel, household/automobile cleaners, etc.)
  • Holidays without service: July 4th, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day

Recycling Guidelines
Accepted Items:  Pasteboards (cereal boxes, empty paper towel/toilet paper rolls, soda boxes, beer boxes, tissue boxes, gift boxes, pizza boxes, and shoe boxes), white/colored paper, brown paper grocery bags (no wax, no wet strength material, no liners), corrugated cardboard (flattened, no larger than 3 ft. x 3 ft.), newspapers, supplements, magazines, catalogs, plastic bottles (remove lids), glass bottles/jars (remove lids), aluminum cans, steel cans and tin household containers, telephone books.

Items not accepted:  plastic bags, motor oil/pesticides containers, light bulb/drinkware, aluminum foil/pie plates, paint/pesticide cans, e-scraps (electronic devices), egg cartons, and Styrofoam trays.

**Recycling bins can be ordered by calling (407) 262-7725, Ext. 1225 or via . Delivery of bins will take 3 to 5 business days. Bins should be placed curbside prior to 6am on the scheduled collection day.

Commercial Solid Waste Program
The Commercial Solid Waste Program is available for all commercial businesses within Casselberry's business community.  Each business owner is responsible for contacting an approved franchise hauler to provide appropriate containers and to ensure all garbage is removed from the premises in a timely manner.

Under Florida law, e-mail addresses are public records. If you do not want your e-mail address released in response to a public-records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity. Instead, contact this office by phone or in writing.
