Residential
Information

Casselberry's Residential Solid Waste Program is managed by Public Works Administration.  Currently, the City of Casselberry has an exclusive agreement with Waste Pro of Florida, Inc. to collect all residential garbage for the City.  The City provides 2 garbage collection days, 1 yard waste, and 1 recycling day.

Yard waste material is to be separated from regular solid waste and placed for pick-up once a week. Currently, all residents' yard waste is collected on Wednesday.  Recycling must be placed in an approved container (18-gallon recycling bin or equivalent).  Recycling bins can be obtained by contacting the Public Works Department at (407) 262-7725, ext. 1225. Delivery of the bins generally occurs 3-5 business days from the date of order.

Citizens are able to dispose of their hazardous materials six days a week at Seminole County's Central Transfer Station located at 1950 State Road 419, Longwood, FL 32750. The County has contracted with a certified hazardous waste handling company to collect and properly dispose of the materials quarterly. Residents may also dispose of all "e-scrap" material (old/used computers and televisions, and other household electronic devices) at the Central Transfer Station.  Hours of operation are Monday - Saturday, 7:30am - 5:30pm.  Please click here for further details.
