Receiving a Code Violation
If you receive a code violation notice:
  • Find out how to correct the problem and do so promptly. Code Compliance Officers want to work with you.
  • You can ask for additional time provided you are making progress.
  • If you do not take prompt action, legal action may become necessary and you may be given notice to appear before the City's Code Enforcement Board. The Board may impose fines up to $250 a day until compliance.
