The primary functions of Payroll are:
  • Process City's payroll, including calculating and entering pay adjustments
  • Provide employees with information regarding insurance and benefits and track employee eligibility
  • Analyze and process information for benefits, payroll tax and workers' compensation reporting and other federal and state or census reports
  • File W-2's at year-end
