World class musicians, Harold Lopez-Nussa Trio with special guest Pedrito Martinez headlined this year's El Sentinel Latin Jazz & Art Festival at Lake Concord Park

The weather was perfect on Saturday, Sept. 1 for a world-class performance featuring jazz artists Harold López-Nussa Trio with special guest Pedrito Martinez as they joined forces to bring a spectacular evening of jazz at the El Sentinel's Hispanic Heritage Latin Jazz & Art Festival at Lake Concord Park.

Havana-based composer and pianist Harold López-Nussa Trio just released their new record In Dia Cualquiera ( A New Day) and Casselberry was one of the 36 cities selected for the new record world tour.Learn more at Harold’s website at https://www.haroldlopeznussa.com/haroldpress/


Pedrito Martinez

Special guest, Grammy nominated Cuban-born percussionist, Pedrito Martinez played a dynamic mix of traditional Cuban rumba, Afro-Latin jazz, and Spanish flamenco music. Read more about Pedrito Martinez at https://www.facebook.com/pedritomartinezmusic/

The Latin Art Exhibit Futura Creativos  at City Hall can be viewed Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.  Artists featured include some of Florida's most renowned Latin artists. The exhibit will continue until November 2018.
