Service Interruption

Will I receive notice before my water service is interrupted for non-payment?

A notice to interrupt service is printed on the monthly bill if payment in full has not been received by the scheduled due date.  This will be the only notification provided prior to service interruption.

The words "second notice" will appear on the monthly bill. When this occurs, all amounts due must be paid in full by the due date noted on the "second notice" bill.  Failure to pay the balance in full by the due date may result in interruption of all utility services the day after the due date. Upon service interruption, payment in full with all fees is required to restore service.
When utility services have been interrupted, service will not resume until the total amount due has been paid in full.  Payment in full includes:

  • Past due amount
  • Late fees
  • Current charges
  • $30.00 delinquent fee
  • $40.00 reconnect fee
