Overview

The City of Casselberry is pleased to announce its participation in the Drop Savers Poster Contest. This contest allows children in local schools to demonstrate their understanding of water conservation. This year’s participating grade levels were: K-1 (Division 1), 2-3 (Division 2), 4-5 (Division 3), and 6-8 (Division 4).

Students are challenged to create drawings, slogans, or a combination of ideas on ways to save water. School representatives select winners from each division and submit the winning posters to the City. Each winner will then be presented with an award from the City of Casselberry’s Mayor and receives prizes such as gift cards, individualized t-shirts of their posters imprinted on the back, personalized totes, and other goodies. Of the winning posters, only one from each division is selected to represent the City at the state-level competition.

The schools that participated in this year’s contest were Casselberry Elementary, English Estates Elementary, Sterling Park Elementary, and South Seminole Middle School.

Congratulations to the 2017 State Finalists!
