Casselberry Neighborhood Improvement Grant Program
What is the Neighborhood Improvement Grant Program?

The City Commission approved project funding in the amount of $50,000 for the 2018-2019 Neighborhood Improvement Grant Program (NIGP).  The purpose of the Neighborhood Improvement Grant Program (NIGP) is to incentivize residents and neighborhoods to enhance the curb appeal of their residence or community through citizen and government partnership to address exterior rehabilitation and renovation to residential areas.

As part of the NIGP, there are two (2) separate funding opportunities available to different individuals and organizations.

Homeowner Improvement Grant
Up to $2,500 award (50% match) for qualified homeowners. Those individuals who own and occupy their single family or mobile homes within the City of Casselberry municipal limits.  Renters are not eligible. The grant is limited to one (1) per household. If you have received a Homeowner Improvement Grant in the past, you are not eligible.

Neighborhood Beautification Grant
Up to $2,500 award with a 50% match by the applicant for qualified Contractual HOAs. Homeowner Associations (HOAs) currently collect dues from residents, which can also include Condo Associations as well. An organization or group may receive one (1) grant per year for two (2) consecutive years, but will not be eligible to receive a grant in year three (3). This cycle can be repeated. All HOAs must be in existence for at least one (1) year prior to submitting an application and shall be required to submit the appropriate paperwork for confirmation. Applicants must own and maintain the property where the project is located.
