The City Manager of the City of Casselberry, Florida, has declared a STATE OF PUBLIC EMERGENCY as of 6:00 P.M. on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2019 because of weather conditions imminent with Hurricane Dorian as provided by Section 30-10 of the City Code of the City of Casselberry. This declaration authorizes the issuance of emergency resolutions as provided for in Section 30-7, as may be required. Emergency resolutions authorized by this Chapter shall include but are not limited to the following subjects:
2. Curfews and declaration of areas off limits.
3. Suspension of local building regulations.
4. Water use restrictions.
5. Emergency procurement procedures that may include:
Performance of public work and taking whatever prudent action is necessary to ensure the health, safety and welfare of the community.
Entering into of contracts.
Incurring of obligations.
Employment of permanent and temporary workers.
Utilization of volunteer workers.
Rental of equipment.
Acquisition and distribution, with or without compensation, of supplies, materials and facilities.
6. Appropriation and expenditure of public funds.
