SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (SBA) ASSISTANCE

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) disaster declaration now covers Seminole County. Small businesses and most private nonprofit organizations may be eligible to apply for SBA's low-interest disaster loan program to repair or replace damaged or destroyed real estate, machinery and equipment, inventory, and other business assets.

FLORIDA SMALL BUSINESS EMERGENCY BRIDGE LOAN PROGRAM

Seminole County small business owners are eligible to participate in the Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program administered by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO). Short-term, zero-interest loans are available to small businesses that experienced economic injury or physical damage due to Hurricane Ian.

Interested applicants can apply now through December 2, 2022, or until all available funds are expended. Eligible small businesses may apply for loans of up to $50,000 through the program. They are not grants and loans must be repaid by the approved applicant.
