This year’s incredible Latin Jazz & Art Festival at Lake Concord Park on Saturday, September 28 from 5:00 p.m. -9:00 p.m. will feature non-stop high energy Latin Jazz sounds of the Rico Monaco Band with special guest star, Tito Puente Jr.
Rico is an award winning guitarist, songwriter, producer, and band leader and has led his band (sometimes as large as 17 pieces) with great success to shows in Paris, France, New York City, San Francisco, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and many other concert locations. Rico Monaco Band’s latest release in 2019, Hey Tito featuring Tito Puente Jr. is a tribute to the late great Tito Puente.
Special guest star and award winning musician, Tito Puente Jr. is leaving his own mark on the music world with his larger than life spirit, bravura showmanship and passion for sharing Latin jazz with the world while still honoring the great legacy of his father, Tito Puente.
Getting this sensational party started is the lively Gilberto Nino Garcia and the Latin Jazz Knights. Hailing from the Tampa area, this band consistently entertains the crowd with amazing Samba, Bossa Nova and Cha-Cha Latin jazz sounds.
Along with great Latin Jazz and Art, this event will feature savory cuisine, specialty vendors, Latin dance presentations, live art demonstrations, colorful art exhibits and delightful children’s activities. Everyone is invited to bring blankets, chairs and all of their friends this the lakefront festive party. Parking will be available at Target and Home Depot and various surrounding lots.
